The authentication used by DUT library is called Open Athens. The Open Athens authentication requires that students and staff login to access the databases from on campus and off-campus. To login, use your DUT email and password for access.
Students can type in their dut4life email address as their username eg 98765432@dut4life.ac.za and their password will be Dut and the first six (6) digits of their Identity number eg Dut940526
Staff can use their DUT email address and their current password (which is the password they use to access their email).
